Ohhh yeee, we played one crazy show in Floripa, as they call it here, at a great new space called Celula . A beautiful island in the south of Brazil, home to surfers, best food, and famous for it's beautiful ladies. Yes , it's true, no doubt about that. 1500 people came out to see us as we premiered yet another version of Love Trio. We had Lucio Maia on guitar from the amazing Nacao Zumbi and Lone Ranger , another great dub man from Jamaica with us. The crowd was young , I would say 18-25..and we rocked and rolled a 2 hour set that started at 2.30 am. Then took the flight 7 am back to Sao Paulo where will be playing tonite at 1 am at the virada cultural festival, and they say 300 000 people will come , crazy , let's see.
In NYC apparently Hess is more and dj Toni K rocked the house.
In the pics...local vocal star Emilia Carmona and star actress Grazi ; youngster bass player Igor , girlfriend and Grazi . Brazil's new star producer Kassin was in town for the nite playing with Vanessa da Mata so he and band came to see the show.. thats the nublu gossip for now.
