AT NUBLU NYC FORRO IN THE DARK ROCKED AGAIN AND IN SAO PAULO WE'RE PREPARING FOR SOME SHOWS..

Nublu's Forro in the Dark wednesday party might be the longest running Brazil party in the city . The special thing with this party is that now Forro , a common Brazilian dance and music style from the northeast of Brazil, has become known in NYC. Now I think there are at least 8 Forro bands in NYC...thanks to this party and ofcourse to da boys from Forro in the Dark , and DJ Greg Caz. Forro is a Brazilian word , but it comes from the word " for all" , because it is a dance and music style for all !

Now being a few hours in Sao Paulo I already see the similarities in between the 2 cities. SP is so full of energy , art , music . Tonite there's a big gallery opening of friends of friends at galeria Leme, and then we're off to a record release party for my friend Gui Amabis at Studio SP. He will play and sing tonite with wife Ceu , Siba and many more guests....will be fun. report later....

And tomorrow my Swedish friend Jesper Haynes is having a photo exhibition in Tokyo called " 5 girls I met in NYC" at Time Out fallery in Ebisu , Tokyo.

ohh yeee, the world is small.

In the pic's ..Davi Vieira of Forro in the Dark and Clark Gayton, Ron and DJ Greg Caz, and some peeps having fun at Nublu...
