Istanbul fest is going real well...people are showing up, digging it , feeling it ...
Aynur Dogan sounded great, DJ Nevzat dj'ed before and after the bands and sounded clubby mixed with turkish flavors, Erkan Ogur did his anatolian /jazzy thing ... very pleasant sounds.. Ziya Azazi made a really really beautiful dance performance...then after party with friends from here, Guizado, Takara and Tony Gordin , great musicians from SP , we went to see afro beat band .. Antibalas...swing by the istanbul fest tonite and tomorrow.... tonite Baba Zula tomorrow nite Nublu's Istanbul Sessions featuring Sao Paulo trumpet man Guizado..
