ISTANBUL FEST IN SAO PAULO IS OVER....

It was amazing these days here in Sao Paulo introducing bunch of cool bands and dj's to Brazil from Istanbul. The whole concept was to present wazp in Istanbul right now...and it seemed it work and people felt it . All kinds of people came by and it became the word of the town...really !! We will do this again next year...

Tonite is the final night of 2 long extended weekends here in Sao Paulo, tonight Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul Sessions and dj Mini bashekim will rock SESC Pompeia , a great venue in SP.

Last Nite Baba Zula and DJ Kaan Duzarat soiunded real nice.

Istanbul fest is going real well...people are showing up, digging it , feeling it ...

Aynur Dogan sounded great, DJ Nevzat dj'ed before and after the bands and sounded clubby mixed with turkish flavors, Erkan Ogur did his anatolian /jazzy thing ... very pleasant sounds.. Ziya Azazi made a really really beautiful dance performance...then after party with friends from here, Guizado, Takara and Tony Gordin , great musicians from SP , we went to see afro beat band .. Antibalas...

DJ's Kaan Duzarat , Nevzat and Minas arrived ...Babe Zula , Aynur Dogan , Erkan Ogur's Telvin arrives today and Istanbul Sessions are already here in Sao Paulo...rockin the 2nd week of this fest .

Saturday nite Nublu records band Wonderland performed at the Istanbul agora fest in Sao Paulo at SESC Pompeia with Baris K on the turntables before and after. We have just released this great compilation and edits by Baris K on nublu records. Sunday Sao Paulo's cool underground collective called Voodahoop help promote Sunday afternoon dj party with Baris K , dj Ipek and Jonny Rock. Was real nice , a crowd of 400 showed up ...the fest will continue this week as well...with Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul sessions featuring Sao Paulo's trumpeter Guizado, Baba Zula , Aynur Dogan, Erkan Ogur's Telvin , dj's Minas, Kaan Duzarat and Nevzat.
