Have you guys checked this record ? I would call this jazz-clubbing . If you need to categorize it other than Nublu....it really is jazz and clubbing . Last nite we made people dance for 2 hours with sort of improvised instrumental music. It's not funky ,it's not housy, it's not new disco , it's I led 3 lives...check our record !
Before I went to see the opening of a 2 week long stretch of shows that Kino has prepared. They call it the new psychadelia. It is prepared with assistance of Jeff Blinkensopp who used to work with Pink Floyd in the 70's. He has prepared this gigantic analog machine where all the music goes through etc..check it out ! Andy Rourke of the Smith's played bass with him last nite , and he will have many guests over the next couple of weeks
And Nublu took the nite to that next level...with pretty much everyone dancing til the end.
